Youth src camp
Each year Torquay Surf Life Saving Club is excited to offer Surf Rescue Certificate training to our upcoming future lifesavers as they progress their journey from nippers to young patrollers.
The Surf Rescue Certificate is a fantastic introductory course in learning the skills to become an active patroller for our beach.
This course is underway in October running each Sunday of the month with the final assement on the 27th of October.
It is important when enrolling in the course that all learners are enrolled using their individual member account. To create a new account as needed please follow the following steps:
- Ensure you are a current and financial member.
- Find the name, date of birth and either the phone number or email address recorded for the attendee:
- Log in to the parent’s SLSA Member Access Area
- Navigate to Memberships > Family
- Click the ‘View/Edit’ link.
- Click the ‘Edit’ link beside the attendee’s name
- Click here to create a new account for the attendee.
- Once you have created your new account click here to login to the Volunteer Training Portal eLearning Portal and enrol in the Youth Surf Rescue Certificate course.
Note: It is important to remember when creating an account that your name, date of birth and either the phone number or email address entered matches those on the Membership Record recorded in step #1.
After enrolment, and before attending the course, we ask all learners to ensure they provide the additional details for attendance of the course.
