Surf, Sun ‘n Sand

The ‘Surf, Sun ‘n Sand’ came about after the club hosted the International Surfing Carnivals as part of the 1956 Olympics. During the organisation of these events a regular Newsletter kept members informed regarding the preparations for the 2 carnivals.

After the carnivals were held it was decided to continue with a newsletter to members and ‘Surf Sun ‘n Sand’ was born – 68 years ago.

The SS&S has continued on a regular basis since Season 1956/57 providing members with information regarding club events that have been and are upcoming.
