Introduction to IRB competition.


The Power craft panel in conjunction with Life Saving Victoria is running an introduction to IRB competition.  If you or your club has anyone that is interested in IRB competition or just wanted to find out more about the sport of IRB competition they can register their details by completing the expression of interest form here:


Applications close 5pm Friday the 11thth of March 2016.


The event is scheduled for the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of April 2016 and will be staged at Lorne SLSC along the west coast, accommodation is available through the Lorne surf Life Saving club for anybody requiring accommodation for the weekend.  Bookings can be made here:


A copy of the itinerary will be forwarded once applications close and numbers have been finalised.  Clubs will be required to bring a fully operational IRB including fuel cell, engine and tube for the weekend along with appropriate wet weather gear (wetsuit, towel and PFD).


Furthermore the weekend will also involve a level one official’s course which will be conducted on theSaturday where people will be able to gain firsthand knowledge of what’s involve in being an official and gain practical experience. Clubs are encouraged to bring their official along to this event and can do so by completing the expressions of interest from, again application close on Friday the 11th March.
