How To Get Involved

At the Torquay SLSC there are activities and opportunities for people of all ages and the Club provides the  perfect family activity centre.

The club covers a range of areas including:

  • Lifesaving - The club has a volunteer beach patrol service that runs from November - Easter each season. In addition to this we offer a range of awards such as IRB driver and crew, Spinal Management, Bronze Medallion and more!
  • Competition - The Torquay SLSC have a group of dedicated competitors who compete in a range of beach and water events.
  • Nippers (aged 6 - 13) - Our nipper program is growing each season and the best thing about it is anyone can be involved. The program offers coaching, management, safety and participation opportunities for parents, friends and participants.
  • Social - We ran a range of social activities throughout the season including live music, themed nights and counter meals.
  • Fundraising - Our club is a non for profit organisation. This means we run a range of fundraising activities throughout the season which our members can assist with.
