An SRC / Bronze week will be held Dec 11 - 17th.  For further details again please email

The Bronze Medallion is the entry level qualification for lifesavers - get it and you can patrol the beach, do water safety for nippers, competition and other lifesaving events and you join an organization that is responsible for saving lives every year all round Australia. Persons 15 years plus are welcome to apply to attend the camp but should be able to swim 400m swim in 8 minutes which can be done at your local pool or in the open water. You will require a minimal level of fitness as there is some water activities may require you rescuing someone a little bigger than ones self, but lets's face it if Clive Palmer got his Bronze Medallion not so long ago, you probably can too.

To be an adult member of our life saving club you also require a Working With Children Check.

Training is by LSV qualified trainers and includes First Aid, Surf Awareness, Communication, Personal Health & Wellbeing, Rescue procedures and Patient Assessment.
